Just out that the Obama Administration granted citizenship, during the terrible Iran Deal negotiation, to 2,500 Iranians - including to government officials. How big (and bad) is that?



So he could do that or is Trump just insane?


If he could do that why couldn't he give us at least legal status.

Obama didn't just give them citizenship. These people applied legally just like everybody else and happens to be Iranian citizen. They applied, wait in line and came legally.

These people got granted status DURING Obama administration, it's not like Obama gave them citizenship.


I though GOP are OK with immigrant as long as they come legally?

There is nothing wrong with Iranians getting U.S. citizenships.

I know Iranian friends who went through the asylum process because they are Bahai and had to escape persecution in Iran.

I was at a Home Depot where they had a little bulletin board with a sign that said "We speak your language!". Under the sign they had a couple of dozen photos of various employees and the languages they spoke other than English. Well, it all turned out to be Spanish so I was joking that they should change the sign to "We speak both languages!"

I think some people on here might also think that the only immigrants that matter are Latinos.

It's changing now. As of 2010, there are more immigrants from Asia coming to the US than Hispanic immigrants.

I'm looking forward to this, increased multiculturalism and diversity is always a good thing.
