Issue and concerns regarding new version of I-765 and I-765WS
 

HI! All

I noticed that USCIS has updated new version of I-765 and I765WS forms.

In the new version of I-765 form, there are some new questions added, such as:

1. most recent passport or travel document number
2. expiration of passport or travel document
3. I-94 card number

These questions really make me worried. Is it a trap ? Should I fill out these information ?

For the I-765WS, once you entered the value for annual income and expense, it automatically added together to become the asset value. Why is that ?

My question is...


How are people from countries that do not issue passports going to renew.

For example people from Venezuela...

Or the South Koreans who got their passports revoked for not doing their service?

It asks for your most recent passport, not that it be valid

Maybe you can explain the discrepancy in a cover letter of sorts. What else is there to do? I don’t know. Maybe someone else does

Instructions state "Passport and Travel Document Numbers. If you used a passport or travel document to travel to the United States, enter either the passport or travel document information in the appropriate space on the application, even if the passport or travel document is currently expired."

So if you entered without inspection you should leave this section blank.

Guys - it’s the same exact same fucking info you put on previous forms. Don’t panic.

And the i765 is for all immigrants, not just us.

There’s also a problem with the I765ws form, just use the type writer feature to overwrite the values or hand write them in. Or try a different PDF viewer
