Daca renewal past arrest help
The DACA application in Part 4, question 1 asks if I've ever been arrested and then to attach the court disposition or record which I had already done for 1 arrest I had in the initial application and everything went through fine. What should I do now for the renewal, send the disposition record again? The instructions say I don't have to resubmit any previously sent evidence but in another part of the instructions it says for initial and renewal requests you must submit documentation of any arrests, so which should I follow?
Anyone have any experience with this or know what to do? |
Re: Daca renewal past arrest help
You don’t send anything regarding that arrest. Only if you had another subsequent arrest, would you send anything. You could send a cover letter explaining that part of the application. But it’s not required and the officer reviewing the case will obviously look at your initial application and do your background check after you go in for your biometrics

Re: Daca renewal past arrest help
Just Answer yes to part 1 question
In the explanation section at the end of the application, make sure you reference the page, seciton and question number. Explain you had a..... and all the require documents were provided with your (initial or last applicaiton) which ever applies. I know someone who does that for the past 3 renewals without issue. |
Re: Daca renewal past arrest help
I would send it in just in case. I got final notice of intent to terminate daca for not showing I left the country 1 renewal ago
