Change My View: The US is a shit country

Oh baby here I go.

What's the point?
Most of my family works too many hours to pay rent/be successful when they have a degree.

Have a bachelor's? Oh wait. you need 5 years of experience.
Have a bachelor's? You can work at in n out.
Have a bachelor's? You are 40k in debt.

Don't have a degree? You can barely get by.
Don't make enough? You can't pay for insurance.
Don't have insurance? Sorry, can't do exams for that tumor.
Don't have insurance? Sorry you have to pay 10 times of what insulin costs in Australia.
You still got that tumor? Sorry, no insurance will want you.

You have DACA? Government decides to play with our future.
You want a future? Sorry you are too much in debt, no money to travel, work too many hours to pay for rent.

Doesn't this make everyone depressed????

If you're still here then everything you said is moot.

Considering that you live in a state that offers in-state tuition to DACAers, you can go to community college and transfer to a solid state university to complete your Bachelor's with merit based or Dreamer scholarships. This will curtail any major debt if executed properly.

Ideally, you should major in something that is in high demand with a foreseeable future like Engineering, Computer Science, Nursing, MIS, etc.

You should also be making sure that you're gaining experience in your field of study through internships and building connections so you won't end up working in something totally different with little pay.

You are correct . That's why I'm planning to leave by 2020 and hopefully never be depressed . 🤞

If you have somewhere to go then may the wind be on your back my friend. Some of us have no where else to go.

What good is better weather when you're too busy working to actually enjoy it?

Ooooooo...burn.

You want guarantees just because you have a bachelor's? LOL, try moving to communist country. You might be more satisfied there.

Communism is absolutely the most liberating form of govt.

Let me explain. When you have choices between over a hundred cereals, when you have to decide on a restaurant to eat, when you are making the decision which car to buy, when you make the decision of which job to take, when you have to make a decision on every single aspect of your life, it's no wonder the United States of America is the most depressed, anxiety ridden, and mentally unstable population compared to the rest of the world.

People in North Korea are far more mentally stable than Americans. It is proven, psychologically, that giving people too many choices can be overwhelming and lead to depression.

Someone try to prove me wrong on communism.
