Fill out form I-751 ASAP and get a money order for $680 ($595 for the form and $85 for biometrics).

Send some copies of evidence along with the form (mortgage or lease documents, joint bank statements, birth certificate of any children born in the marriage, joint bills, joint insurance, photos, affidavits, etc).

Since your greencard expired only 2 days ago, I would go ahead and send it out today itself so it can get there by end of the week.

You could’ve filed your paperwork last year. It takes a year to process the whole to remove conditions on green card. You might as well file naturalization paperwork if you’re married

Even if you thought it was expiring the 30th, you have to submit the I-751 90 days before your expiration date, why are you barely getting around to it :???:

Going by the instructions, you no longer have permanent residency, although you are able to file it after your expiration date IF the late filing wasn't your fault, it was due to unforeseen circumstances and within a reasonable time frame. You have to write a letter explaining and send it with your application.

I will never ever understand how or why people wait till the last minute. I have my DACA EAD expiration date memorized and can't sleep once it is within the 150 day mark!

Good luck and I hope it works out.

Okay... I send it yesterday overnight to arrive today. I also wrote a letter stating i am late. I was suffering from multiple infections so i submitted medical records.
Anyhow... well guys those stones hurt.thanks i need it.
Also anyone reading this please please do not be like me and wait till last minute.
Also everyone... after we have been struggling with this immigration thing our whole life, that green card freedom can get to your head and make you relaxed... too relax and complacent. So untill you get that citizenship, you have to stay onto of your game.
So... i will keep you guys update along the way. It’s going to be a long ride let me buckle up.

I'm going to write the date 90 before my conditional expires on a piece of paper and post it on my bedroom wall. Better believe that I-751 is going out no later than that date

well make sure you don't send it out earlier than that day as well because they'll send it back to you.
