2021 DACA Renewal timelines

I am expiring May 2021. I sent my application last Tuesday but so far I haven't received a text or an e-mail that they received it. Maybe I am just anxious but what have you guys been experiencing when sending your renewals during the pandemic

EDIT:

Packet sent: January 12, 2021 to Chicago Lockbox
Packet received: January 20, 2021 and sent to the Nebraska center
Receipt notice arrived in the mail: January 26, 2021, No biometrics appointment needed
Card produced: February 5, 2021

Just sent in my renewal last Thursday, I also expire in May. The UPS tracking updated to say that it was received today.

Can anyone confirm...

I remember some time ago, you could submit your renewal months before being within the 5 month expiration window and USCIS would just sit on your renewal until the 5 month mark and then process for renewal.

More recently, I remember seeing people say that early renewal submissions were returned with a request to resubmit only after they had entered the 5 month window.

What is the current status now? I know things may be changing with the new admin coming in, but I am curious. Are renewals submitted before the 5 month mark being returned?

For my last 3 renewals, including my most recent one, I applied over a year before they were supposed to expire. All 3 times I got approved around the 4-5 month mark.

My most renewal:
EAD expired April 4/21/2021
Submitted renewal packet around December 2019
New EAD approved on 12/15/2020

Don't stress. You've got plenty of time. Might take right up until the final few weeks. Always was like that with all of my renewals.

Just in case, the lawsuit with Hanen causes trouble. I know the Biden administration will do what they can, but it's for my peace of mind.
