Emergency AP

Im seeing AP taking months to get approved for many, what is there to do when its an extreme emergency like sick relative or dying grandparents? what's the quickest that AP could be obtained?

Got my great grandmother in ICU, grandmother too. I need to get there quick to deal with stuff.

Schedule appt and go to uscis office. You will need to pay fee again, take passport + photos and reason for AP

Info Pass is the fastest way. Might even get approved that same day of the appointment.

I think it’s ridiculous how it’s still taking 6 months to get approved.

My uscis offices needed me to have a ticket in the system before they could do anything. Once I got the receipt numbers my AP was approved within a day at the local offices

Ticket in the system? Can u explain further? I just want to be ready for the worse. Im even gonna buy the plane ticket in first class and all to ensure im not seen as some peasant using family as an excuse for a vacation like most people are doing.

Receipt number I mean, they needed to already be in the USCIS system for whatever reason. So I had to send an AP application, 7 days later, I got the receipt numbers on my email and took that to my local office and it was approved there.
