Experiences navigating AB 540
 

So I’m going to a public med school in California and I’m currently navigating proving residency. I went to high school and some of middle school in California so I believe that I qualify for AB 540 in state tuition. Anyone have experiences going through this process? I went to private school out of state so I don’t exactly have previous experiences dealing with residency. I just received an affidavit to fill out but it says I might have to submit a transcript. Do I need to order one or ask my high school for one? Or will the registrar get a copy themselves?

There are a few ways one can qualify for AB540 - one of which is graduating from a California HS.

If they ask for proof, go obtain your California HS transcript. Many HS have an online system where you can order one.
