Roth IRA

Does any one know the penalties of withdrawing money from a Roth IRA ? I have an unforseen expense that I really need to take care of and really need the cash.

Shouldn't be any penalties I think. Roth IRA taxes should already be paid.

Roth retirement would have penalties.

There is a penalty as it is a retirement account, not a standard brokerage account for a reason. You have to meet certain rules prior to withdrawing.
