I have a bit of an odd question. I submitted my Adjustment of Status aplication last year and is currently "under review". I got my work permit approved (category C09) from 05/16/2023 to 05/15/2023. My question is: my current DACA protections expire on September 01 2023 and I DO NOT INTENT TO REAPLY. Does any know what my immigration status will be AFTER my current DACA expires?? Will I have any conflict being that most likely my green card wont by aproved any time soon? I submitted my aplicaton August of 2022 and have not received an RFEs or anything. I got a request for initial evidence of my medical exam which I submitted right away and USCIS got them within a week, after which my work permit got aproved. Does having work permit give you any type of immigration status? Thank you.

Technically you won't have one, then again you don't have one now either, DACA isn't a status per se. For anything that asks you can put down "Pending I-485", "Pending AOS", "Applicant for adjustment of status", etc.
This really isn't an issue outside of firearm laws where a nonimmigrant who got guns via the sporting/hunting exception falls into a donut hole between the expiration of their prior status and adjustment being granted, as the NFA didn't account for this eventuality. For annoying states that want proof of status for DL, bring them the I-485 receipt it satisfies the requirement of "lawful status" under the Real ID Act Sec 202(c)(2)(B)(ix)
