Early Renewal

What's the earliest someone has renewed Daca? I usually submit mine 1 year in advance, but thinking of doing 1.5 years this time. Has anyone tried it that early?

I renewed a year early during Trump's first term, no problem at all, other than losing 6 months ( vs. gaining 2 years peace of mind). My current EAD expires 2/2026 so I'm debating how soon to renew as well.

Worked out good. It just stays on hold until the 6 month mark, so I lose 6 months, but I prefer it this way so I don't have accidental lapses due to delays. I'm debating to renew even earlier just to make sure my application is in the system in case all goes to shit in January lol

I expire 02/26 as well.. Debating on how early I should submit my renewal this time around.. I hate losing months on a renewal but I'd gladly pay the fees to lose 6 months this time around..

Re: Early Renewal

Mine expires at the end of May and apparently January 1st is exactly 150 days from expiration... but I want to send it in earlier... maybe December 1st so they hold onto it and hit process the moment January 1st comes around. Hmmmm?

I just got a renewal.

I'm wondering if I should just send in another to have it pending for 2 years lol.
