This is not the kind of bill to attach Dreamer too.. This bill was crafted in response to a migrant killing a young woman. The optics would be terrible if they pushed for any legalization in this bill.. The bill with dreamers will come later with border security and other immigration law changes

The #LakenRiley Act has passed the House—it must not pass the Senate. The bill requires detention for undocumented people, including #DACA recipients, single mothers, and teenagers, arrested for low-level offenses like shoplifting—even if found innocent.

A lot of this is the fault of weak immigration enforcement. Had they actually detained and deported this guy back when he shoplifted and was convicted none of this would've happened. It's not hard to NOT steal. And if you get accused, you could at least prove your innocence by not having stolen goods. Once you make it to the convicted stage you should be out of here. There is plenty of room to prove your innocence, and lots of room for lawyers to plead your case.

Now, thanks to weak enforcement on criminals we all get punished. Just the mere accusation and detention is enough for being turned over to ICE. Thanks. Much help it was to be soft on criminals. Now everyone gets punished. But as for gun crime that's still fine. Or death from cars. That's fine too.

Although as usual, people adapt to new laws and will get citizen or permanent residents to do their shopping for them. I know I will.

I think Trump is likely to use the alien enemies law against Venezuelans. For that tren de aragua gang. Unfortunately, everyone else will be collateral.

Finally, it's my opinion that parole shouldn't of been granted to Venezuelans. It's almost a reward for letting your country go to shit. Same with the Cubans. Elect communists now you get free green cards. Elect socialism with Hugo Chavez and now you get free entry into the US. Its subsidizing loser nations. They'll just do the same all over again. Cubans and Venezuelans with Trump. The people only learn the hard way. Gotta let them touch the hot stove a few times until it clicks. The election of Trump is the people touching the hot stove again. It'll click eventually. Though they might not admit it due to shame.

Notice how easily and quietly the democrats rolled over and revealed their yellow bellies. These are the chucklefucks who say they'll help us. Right. I've seen that "help" for the last 15 years. Is it feasible for them to roll over and more easily?

It only got accepted into the Senate, it didn't become law just yet. Now comes the long process of amendments. Just staple Wall and Dream Act onto it and get that bill rolling along. Apologies to Democrats who I referred to as yellow-bellied.
