Your anxiety must had been through the roof! I'd only consider such drastic action if either DACA ceased to exist or my visa interview is ready south the border. If either is the case, I'd be happy whatever the outcome is. I find solace knowing I can "legally" work in the present time, making a decent amount of money definitely helps. All I want is serenity and peace of mind. Plan B is to cash out all my assets and live comfortably abroad. No headaches no drama.

Is there a specific thing or action that broke the camel's back and made you take such decision? Self deporting isn't an easy thing to do.

Personally, I couldn't care less what others think. As long as I'm able to make a living I'd mind my own business... I guess you were in difficult spot, you were at a point where nothing made sense and said to yourself fuck it, I'm out of here. A point of no return. Well let me tell you, you liberated yourself from stigmatization, the chains have been broken. Enjoy your freedom, physically and most importantly mentally. You own your destiny.

Switching gears, I enjoyed the AI interaction, she definitely knows what to say. Sorry I cannot help it, in your opinion is she an 8 or 9? I know that is still in you. Man will be man. Always. Anywho, looks like you've been traveling a lot, be nice to them doves. Cheers!

I had psychosis in 2019.

Here's my farewell thread where many questioned my decision and even doubted I was telling the truth.

Never, ever, ever - not for a second - have I regreted living.

One of the only things I once missed were cigars - until realizing Brazil not only produces their own, but also has Cuban imports at the tobacco shop just a few blocks away.

I believe that there comes a time where you need to leave the past behind. You are no longer undocumented and although you went through a lot you seem to keep holding on to the trauma. You’ve made it your identity at this point. Why not focus on all the positive things that has happened in your life since leaving? You are more free than a lot of us here even those who have AOS.

I really do appreciate your well meant words, but they are not how life works.

You speak from a place of not understanding truma, coupled with an apparent lack of gratitute to someone who, after five years, still returns to the Dreamer community.

I was born an accident child, something my father made obvious when he abaned me at 6 or 7, came back for a bit, then abaned me at 14 again. On top of that, 17 years being labeled as an illegal has left a deep imprint on me. I endured profound existential hardships due to these wounds, things most people wouldn't understand. They are my identity, yes, but as Dumbletold told Harry Potter, "they are your greatest strength."

America - yes the "great country".

"We are so great, so rich, so vibrant" -- they told us through everything we watched and heard. People who went to America seemed to living better: prestine streets, flowing highways, welcoming schools, feeling of safety and jobs that actually pay.

"Be like us" -- they subconsiously told us.

But when we got here, we found out we were "tainted".

Not good enough to be like them.

Then after we built our little lives here, after we felt a little pride of being somewhat, even fake "American", they started to murmur "get out, get out, GET OUT".

Why though, America? You're being so great, why be so mean to us?!

We just wanted to be like you!

Don't you see we love you too?

Most Trump voters mainly voted for economic reasons. We have broad support from the US. Even many Republicans like us. The so called mandate has turned out to be paper thin.

Trust in your fellow Americans. No matter what, they will back us up. We've even had work permits for a decade at least. I still remember when even a work permit was an insane goal.

There are people getting squeezed economically. Working 2-3 jobs just to survive. They weren't fooled by the bidenomics lies of a great economy. We are indeed American and our story isn't over. We'll reach the destination in it's due time.

If you want to receive you have to give.
You can only receive what you visualize yourself receiving.

I think that overall, the House budget might not actually do much of anything. It seems to be a lot of smoke and too little fire. Problem is, they are too scared of doing the actual budget spending cuts that will at least buy extra time. Notice how every time they try to get more taxes or more spending cuts they also follow them with more spending.

It was an incredibly disastrous choice to move to fiat currency. Solid stable currency is the bedrock of a country, otherwise it just inflates to nothing. To me its insane that at one point people were paid in gold dollars, had silver quarters, and even the 1c coin was worth something and made from actual copper. Lmfao. We missed the good days.

But speaking of the 1c coin, I think it should be discontinued. It and the 5c coin are just not worth the squeeze. 10c should be the minimum price. People dump 1c coins in the trash, flick them out of their hands like boogers, and one redditor does unspeakable awful things to them. People suggested that the 1c coin should be made worth more, but deflation is toxic to all the monetary systems of moving money around and making profit from nothing.
