Probably there's a bit of a generational divide as well.

Older Millenials like myself remember very vividly of growing up and working/ going to college without DACA and any help from scholarships. We also remember all the broken promises and sheer incompetence of the Democrats in getting us a deal.

These young DACAs already hit 18 with DACA + scholarships out of the gate. Plus, they've been conditioned to see themselves as an oppressed group. All have been spoonfed all this UWD intersectionality/ legalize everyone crap all their lives so they're gonna waste the movement's political capital defending Pro-Hamas greencard protestors, TPS people, and transgender activists and forget about their own cause.

Reddit is astroturfed to oblivion. Most users on there are just LLMs and the few humans are far left for the most part.

I think r/DACA should be closed and they should make a forum. This will bring them clarity and make them focus on DACA only. Can't save others if we drown with them.

They went full on scaring the morons in the population about video games, immigrants, gays, muslims, and basically any other group that is different enough to other and isn't giving them money. Now that worked for a time, they had a large voter base of utter morons while they'd do their own thing but well, the true believers who got lobotomized by Fox News started getting elected into office in large numbers.
