DHS responds on the #DACA case. Says folks in Texas with pending initial DACA apps will given a period of time to update their residence address outside of Texas (if they have moved)

USCIS will begin adjudicating ALL #DACA app as soon as the final order is given by Judge Hanen. If people live in Texas they will be refunded, and DACA Texas residents will have their EADs (but not their DACA) revoked. They will begin to accure unlawful presence

Most likely, this is just the responce from the DHS to Hanen's pre-ruling on how they plan to coordinate DACA going forward based on the lawsuit outcome so far, but Hanen will ultimate have the final word. If so, this will be a huge win for new applicants, but a defeat for our friends in Texas. We will know the final outcome shortly, but I think in the next 2-4 months.

Texas was allowed to sue DACA because it was able to show some kind of harm caused by the program, despite how weak it was; this provided them the legal standing needed... I wonder if this still applies now that DACA has been essentially terminated in Texas?

Dam, they won’t even let EAD’s lapse, they’re just canceling on the spot ! Time to move on??? Just read on SA express news that TX will stop issuing CDLs to DACA recipients and refugees too.

Folks on DACA need to get out of shithole states like Texas and Florida.

Where is the Republican majority in Congress swooping in with Dream Act legislation?
CRICKETS!

Florida is particularly nasty between the swamp diseases, mosquitoes, bad odors, gators, and hurricanes, and now all the undocumented no longer want to work and are leaving the state. On top of that, the documented also don't want to work in Florida. More pain on the horizon and relief is maybe 1 maybe 3 years away. Oh well. Hold on tight I guess. Idk.

If you are maga, just hold on tight. It takes a while for the changes by Trump to kick in. Give it time. Stop being such an unpatriotic panican.
