yep~ 16 hour a week... But I still have free weekends to study... Some of the days are pretty intense. I wake up at 5:30, go to school, come out 2:30, go to work by 4:00, get home at 8, study, sleep, wake up at 5:30. u get the picture. How about you?

it's okay... I wouldn't call it a hard life. It's just really really busy between nursing program, work, working out/ running, kendo, church and wut not but I love doing everything except work.... so I enjoy it. Dude some people on this forum can top me like no other.... some horror stories of working 40 hours a week while going to school full time!!!

Re: soooo...

I dont know if this counts since I graduated from school back in 2004.

I had to work to pay for personal stuff, rent, books, tools and school working in a carwash since I was about 17. I'm very thankfull that I had that job since I was in high school, since it was that that led me finance my education as a technician.

In the mornings I would go to school to learn a trade (in a two year community college, when I was in high school, I would only work during the weekends)...in the afternoons when I didn't work, I was kind of an "intern" at the place where I'm currently working. Which was 3 times per week. So I spent quite sometime without really a day off. But thanks to this great career that is refrigeration, I was able to be hired once I graduated. And now I'm making an ok life, and basically the last three years have been pretty much filled with fun, girls, adventures and parties.

I guess it is true that good things do happen to good people :-). So, to those that are in that difficult situation where I was some years ago:

Hang in there...things are gonna get easier.

didn't have enough money this semester so i'm working full time until January. I'm going to enroll in the local CC then and probably work 2 or 3 days a week during school.
