What does TEAS stand for?

TEAS???
nurses only take NCLEX. But if you want to brush up on math, I say you just go to local barnes and noble or book store and get a cup of coffee, spend next few hours just going through practicing on those sample test books. (bring a scratch paper of course) that's how you study for SAT, NCLEX, TOEFFLE, you know how it is. It's just matter of practice. I am sure there is a book out their to practice TEAS, whatever that is? Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful lol. |

I found this practice assessment online. According to a quick search with google, TEAS stands for the Test of Essential Academic Skills and "measures your reading comprehension, English skills (such as grammar and punctuation), the rate at which you read, basic math skills, and science knowledge."
Apparantly some nursing programs at some colleges require you to take that exam to get into the General/Basic BSN program. Just google the exam and lots of guides/practice quizzes pop up. |

It really depends on the state you're living in, but you should be able to get a study guide at barnes n noble or borders like geronimo stated, ive seen those books in the same shelf as the nclex/lpn/cna study guides.
