Re: Road Test today! (NJ)
What ID did you bring to the road test? When I got my NJ permit, I used my college diploma to fulfill the 6 points, but it was kinda silly lugging that around. I was a little confused because my...

Re: *****Daca approvals <------******
I got approved on 1/31 and received my notice 2/4! Mailed my self-filed application 8/30 and had biometrics taken 10/2, so that's a little over 5 months. My F2B petition from 2006 still has several...

Congrats! My PD is still 5 years from being current in F2B, but at the rate that category is also moving, I could be current by the end of this year. Let's hope it stays that way. Then of course...

Re: New USCIS regulations for CSPA
So from May 2010 to June 2010, the F2A category's current priority dates move ahead from DEC 06 to JAN 08. Where was this big jump when I needed it 6 months ago? My petition was approved earlier than...

I'm not sure your terminology is correct. I think you mean that it was approved in January 1998 after being filed back in 1996, in which case your priority date is the date the petition was filed. If...

I think that's the number who graduate/drop out of high school each year with our situation. Over time it adds up to about 1 million.

Re: Judge: Immigrants' kids who 'age out' lose place
Aww, crap.
Does this affect me as a principal beneficiary in the F2A category? Or is it only derivative beneficiaries of parents who are still waiting to adjust status?

Unless your mother can prove she was physically present in the US on December 21, 2000, then no.
