Yes, you must have it translated, if you include it as proof of identity.

If you include a valid foreign passport, you do not need the birth certificate. Both are proof of identities.

I don't see why it would be an issue. If you're worried include a simple explanation. Make sure any foreign document that is not in English is translated into English.

Its three forms: The I-821D, I-765, and the I-765WS. Plus money order! :lol:

Although the website has seven guidelines, a single document can cover many guidelines. A lot of documents will overlap...

A passport that hasn't expired, preferably with a current photo. I translated my birth certificate because my passport expired in 1996! Haha, and I was around 5 years old in the photo.

If you have a valid passport, then you don't need to send a copy of your birth certificate.
