I'll be in the c(9) category too, through my wife who is a USC.
10 months seem very long, did you have any RFE's and such? Mine became ready to be scheduled right after biometrics.

It seems like the I-765 processing time at NBC is around 5 months! Much longer than I anticipated.

The I-131 fee is also $535 not $575.
And also just for FYI for everyone, the medical exam I-693 changed some rules in the past few months. It now has to be done within 60 days of submission, and...

Personal update

I came in the U.S. when I was 11 under H4 (my mom was H1b), and...

Re: So Real ID is a thing in 2 years...
EAD from DACA is a valid ID for real ID. I read the actual bill that implemented realID.

Re: Should I get a lawyer for AOS?
My lawyer will attend the first interview. It's an insurance to make sure basically there is 0% chance it'll get rejected.

It might be worth getting second opinions from other lawyers who might be more willing to really...

Re: Help! Can I upload my EAD copy via online by using my USCIS online account
You might want to call USCIS and ask. The worst case is that they send you a RFE, and you send them it, which would delay you application.
I doubt they'd outright reject your application...

I filled out all of my initial DACA app and the subsequent renewals by myself, including gathering evidence for the initial.
However, I'm going with a lawyer for AOS; it's the one last hurdle...

Not worth it. If there's an emergency, they'll dock at the nearest port, which might mean Canada. Don't do it.

AP doesn't exist for DACA anymore.
Just get a civil ceremony here and straighten out your status first, and then go have a 'real' wedding in Mexico.

Re: Any Koreans here with DACA with Military Problem?
I mean you need someone that knows Korean law at least a bit. There are many Korean green card holders who also need to deal with the military service so I'd imagine the lawyers are prepped for that.

Re: REAL ID w/ DACA.
I renewed my California DL (the non-real ID one) online. It's still good for domestic travel until 2020, so I'll apply for the real ID closer to 2020.

We can't say much more without knowing all of the details.
Try contacting ACLU, they helped many people here in 2016 when the renewals were being delayed.

It's a long shot, but contact his local senator/congress rep; they might be able to help.
