Re: March 4th Primaries
Clinton may have won Texas in part because it is an open primary. Rush Libaugh and other conservative talk radio hosts have been encouraging Republican listeners to vote for her in Texas so that she...

Re: Immigration Reform this Year?
Actually CIR passed the Senate in 2006 (yet DREAM Act couldn't even get enough votes to be properly debated in 2007), though it failed to be rectified with the House Version which wasn't...

Actually avoiding Oklahoma isn't necessary. The scenario described as to checking passangers status and charging the driver with a felony is not really happening. While the state immigration law...

Re: I heard Obama is going to make a deal with Clinton ?
Actually Obama has a pretty good shot at winning Texas based upon their weird system and Tuesday's primaries showed Obama taking a lot of traditional Clinton supporters, so his shots at Ohio and...

Re: Immigration Reform, back??!
Not procedural, just political. I wouldn't worry too much on Pelosi insisting on Senate acting first, she's just trying to cover herself, but if enough momentum is in favor for House acting first,...

What would be positive for McCain having Huckabee on the ticket is that he would draw in evangelicals, whom are highly suspicious of McCain due to lingering resentment from his attempt to get the...

Re: brokered convention could happen people
The other factor that may come in to play is Michigan/Florida. Should things come close by convention, it is expected that Clinton will push to restore delegates to those states.

Re: brokered convention could happen people
True, a brokered convention, should it occur, will likely pick either Clinton or Obama. To do otherwise, to pick some one out of the blue, would not sit well with many people. However, I have read...

Durbin would be good, but the mumblings are that if a brokered convention happened, look for Al Gore to be a likely nominee.

Exactly, since Democrat primaries are all proportional, as long as there are no blowouts, Obama and Clinton will stay relatively close in delegate numbers no matter who whens states.
