I was older than 16 when I came here.
Well, it doesn't hurt to ask it, right? :) And it's hard to become a permanent resident in mostly any country, unless you got a lot of money or something...

You definitely should go. I plan to move back there one day but to live in a small city, away from all the crazinesses of the big cities.
I would just advise against living in a big city.

I wouldn't move to Brazil. I am from there and the crime rate there is ridiculously high. On top of that, corruption is all over.
