Re: Thoughts on AP, Advance Parole
Side note. I flew back from Mex last weekend. Noticed that there were more than 15 or so folks coming in with a visa.
I'm pretty sure I would have taken the risk with AP as well.

Re: GC for a month now, case status hasnt changed
Mine didn't change for like 6 or 7 months after I got the card. Like Señor Bernoulli said, once you get the card it's case closed.

Re: DACA to AOS
Nope, for land crossings you only need the permanent resident card. That goes for entering Canada and returning to the US.
If you're flying, you need a passport.

Re: DACA to AOS
You need a passport (and possibly eTA) if you fly into Canada. A PR card is enough for land/sea crossings.

Re: Should I worry
Under tax law, money made from dealing in illicit trades, bribery, etc.... is required to be reported to the IRS. The gov't just wants the money, no matter who/how it's made.

As do Mexican passport holders, although you need eTA if you fly into Canada.

Re: Washington State Driving License
Yes your friend can obtain a DL/ID in Washington State. They have stronger requirements to prove residency in the state and I've heard that they are known to do residency interviews.

Re: NYC in 2 Days - What to Do
Thanks for the advice folks. I'm looking forward to checking out Central Park and riding the subway. I think I'm going to be lowkey comparing that to Chapultepec Park and the metro in Mexico City.

NYC in 2 Days - What to Do

Re: DACA to AOS
I think that's all relative. I still consider myself a Dreamer based on my life experience. Although I think there's a big disconnect between those of us that didn't have DACA at 18 and those who...

Re: Canada Express entry
That's a cool blog. I'd like to know how CBP ensures that Canadian PR holders/Citizens are subject to a bar from entry at land crossings. Sometimes you see officers waive people through.

Re: Advanced Parole BACK??
What Malign0n said. I didn't have a I-94 from my entry, but they took the BCC as proof that I was inspected upon entry to the US .

You should be good to go with the passport stamp. Good luck with the adjustment process! Hopefully it gets resolved in a speedy manner.

Yes. Do a FOIA request. Additionally, make sure to keep copies of everything you send to USCIS from now on.
