Today she is leaving Juarez and will fly to Tijuana where immediate family will be waiting. That will put me at ease a bit more knowing she's safe.

Exactly. This was the question where the agent assumed she was lying, everything else was going fine. But yes, he told her to apply for I-601.. so the lawyers are now scrambling to get this going...

I feel like I should interfere and prevent her from leaving. And I feel like this lawyer should know all of this and tell us if for any reason she feels my mom shouldn't go, she should tell us.
