I think they need to use that reconciliation bill to push through the debt ceiling with 50 votes plus vp. That can’t wait until September so they must use that bill vehicle sooner than they wanted.

The reconciliation bill needs to pass before the end of the fiscal year on 9/30. We'll know before then whether the immigration provisions included meet the byrd rule.
