I don't think unauthorized work is in the list of "inadmissibility". Like many, before I had DACA I worked without authorization for nearly a decade and that never came up during my IR-1 visa...

USCIS is supposed to send a copy to the NVC.

Yes, definitely, bring a copy for the 601A approval to the interview.

Are you apply for a visa through your US Citizen spouse?

If so, you don't need the waiver. You can just apply for Adjustment of Status (AOS). That is literally the whole reason many user here use...

The USCIS was taking 10-12 months to process I-601A applications before 2020 (COVID). My wife and I submitted our waiver application December 2018 and was approved September 2019.

You have to request a new card. The SSA sent me a new card within two weeks of entering the US. Which was weird, because I did not ask them to send me a new card.

Call them and see if they'll let...

In my case it took 4 weeks to receive the GC, back in February. We paid the $220 visa fee AFTER entering the US.

yeah... there is typically an email that comes through from the NVC. The email will say something along the lines of "received all requested documents" or "case now in the queue for an interview"

Thanks to God and my amazing wife, I just came back from Mexico via Consular Proceedings + I-601A waiver.

The last two weeks were the most stressful weeks of my life, but glad to be home in the US...

It really varies... I've been waiting for an interview since November 2019.

Some people have been getting interviews within 1-2 years, but I don't know why some are faster than others.

I had similar problems with my lawyer; they do not like it when you get in their business but I've found you really need to be proactive about it. I know they hate it, but if you're not on top of it...

Exactly. If they didn't send you the case number, then the lawyer has it. Call the lawyer and tell him you're ready for the next step.

You can also call the NVC and they'll give you the Case #.

You don't need to wait to hear back from the State Department. You already have the approved 601A, just go ahead and move on to the next step: login to the NVC wbsite and fill out the DS-260 online...

The idea with AP is that when you go to your interview, if you get approved, you simply come back with your new visa.

If your visa is denied, then you simply present yourself at the point of entry...
