And it seems by your statement that you have a little bit of resentment towards the Catholic Church. And I like how you mentioned "the true gospel". There's no such thing as "the truth": an evolutionist can say that the evolutionary theory is "the truth" and fundamentalist Christians can also say Genesis holds "the truth" to the creation of the world. Muslims, Jews, Ba'hai members, Hindus, and Buddhists (just to name a few) can also believe their world views as "true". I think that the arrogance of saying something like that is the reason why there is such animosity in the world today towards Christians.
And to revert back to a previous comment you made, prodigal sons/daughters don't always come back. Just a thought .

LOL, it's fine by me if Jews, Muslims etc claimed their religion was the truth. I am not being arrogant when i say my religion is the truth because that's what the Bible says. The same goes for a muslim or a Jew who argues that their religion is the truth according to the Quoran or Torah. Why are you practicing Judaism if you don't believe what they are teaching as the truth? Or does Judaism teach there is another God apart from Yahweh?
Btw, i have no resentment towards the Catholic Church.
