I apologize for not elaborating.
Basically, Joel Klein has done nothing for the NYC public school system. He is responsible for cutting the budgets of the four best High Schools in NYC (one of which I attended) while the rest of the schools had little or no budget cuts. He has done nothing to stop overcrowding in our schools and to build new schools, yet the DOE officials get richer and richer. Parents as well as educators have no input in how the public school system runs.
There are many more examples, but in all, he is a disaster and I plan to send plenty of letters to President Obama explaining why this man would ruin the already crappy education system.
