Unfortunately...that is whats happening right now. In the absence of a federal immigration reform, states and localities are taking it upon themselves to regulate illegal immigration and the only legitimate means is to take part in enforcement.

The consensus on this forum is that we strongly recommend that you don't drive without a license. If you have to drive for absolutely necessary reasons, then its a risk that you have to take. If you're driving for the sake of driving, then thats just playing with fire. Sooner or later, you may get caught. As for the citation..do you have to pay a fine? If you have to, then see if you can pay the fine by mail or in person. Some places require you to appear before a judge and if thats the case, then we can go into that if it requires.
