I agree with this as well. Nor should we overestimate our influence. Our activism and the connections members have made will all greatly help our cause - and could tip the balance in our favor -- but there are still things we have no control or influence over - which could ultimately be the reason DREAM Act passes or not this year.

Everyone on this forum should put as much effort and into DREAM Act as they can and as they are comfortable in doing. One member might have ten hours a week they can devote to DREAM Act a week while another member only an hour a week - but both efforts should be considered equal since we are all in different situations, comfort levels and areas of the country.
