Many students are facing similar cases like mine. After we graduate with bachelor's degree, we gotta apply H-1b visa and work 5,6 years under same company/person who sponsor us. However, if something goes wrong in those 5,6 years, we are forced to leave. So I hope this dream act can help us also.
Right on ! Couldn't have said it any better ! Moreover, I'm lucky to be an engineering major where H1Bs are available. What if you were an arts, social science/law, marine biologist, etc etc There are barely any companies that will sponsor you an H1B. Remember, the government jobs require you to be either a citizen or permanent resident so that option is out for you most as well ! Hopefully Dream Act will also apply for us !
