No its not. Depends on your priorities...if you care what people will think of you because you went to cc then its bad, but thats just in your head. At the end of the day you can transfer and still get the same degree the other guy that went to his/her full four years to a university at a fraction of the cost. If 4 year university is not within your budget cc is the way to go. Key is to stay focused and keep your grades up to make the transfer process smoother.

Note: I attended and graduated from a four year university and have friends that took the cc transfer to university route...at the end of the day in our fields (engineering) we make the same yearly, some make more than me.
