While it is good to see large number purchases, they would be in pretty much the same situation as we are in knowing what will happen, and large purchases could be based on their speculation that the DA will pass, which I still like because it means that they, and their experts, would also think that something big was about to happen to require a large order of cards.

1.8 million cards is a great number to hear. I hope that the 700-800k cards issued per year includes cards issued due to people losing them or having them stolen, because that would me that they have an extra million cards and what seems to be a twice per year buying schedule. some figures that I am seeing around on the internet suggests the number of undocumented children in k-12 hovers at around 1 million, and that approx. 1.3 million students could potentially benefit from this act.
