I think people who commit marriage fraud are scum. Many in my family, including myself are in this predicament because we naively thought we could legalize our situation based on our OWN merit. Yeah, right. I think the govermnent should really look at taking into consideration wether someon has a genuine interest in becoming part of America, and wether that person will be productive for many years to come.

Family reunifiication, productivity, and loyalty to this country should be the criteria used to grant legal status.

I have several family members who are U.S. born citizens, as well as naturalized citizens who couldn't care less and have no interest in living here. Go figure.
