So where are you now? You have to be here for the past 5 years starting from an arbitrary date that the bill will set (like it's passage/signing), so if you're not in the US like right now .... it doesn't look good.

Not to sound harsh, but it doesn't matter if you're dad is here or not or if he's got paperwork pending or not. There are a lot of dreamers with legal parents/siblings. The DA is for you, not for them. The text of the bill does stipulate continuous presence and it's hard to overcome that if you've left.
