Go to bank of america, get a savings and checking account. Once that is set up, Call customer service, (do not go to the local bank), and ask them a for a Formal Document, one with a formal company header, stating that you are a customer of theirs, and you have an "INterest bearing account". you need taht document, alongside the passport. The tax preparer should help you fill out the W-7.
