The only thing you can possibly use for like getting into bars/clubs would be to carry around your passport along with like a school id if you got one.

They are easily forged I once saw a guy from Honduras w/ a Matricula Consular.
When I asked him why did he have one, he told me that hopefully he will only get deported to Mexico instead of Honduras if the cops pick him up. I thought it was BS until I was in Reynosa Mexico (border town) and a Honduran guy asked me for money cause they had just deported him from the USA and wanted to eat.
