Well its all about connections. Basically, who you know that can get you these kind of jobs or help in a way. I don't know if a 1099 form would work but I can tell you this. About a year ago my uncle told me about his dentist who was looking for a help around her office, cleaning materials, and help with dental procedures as well. My ass just pounced on that opportunity. So my uncle had a talk with her and told her about me being undocumented. She asked for me to come in to her office and asked me a few questions. Such as if I can stand the sight of blood or if I was well mannered etc...and pretty much gave me the thumbs up. It was a pretty great experience for me. I wouldn't doubt it would be for you as well seeing that you would really like to work in a dentist office.

So all in all. Connections!..lol..If you know anybody working or have some type of bridge towards dentistry, have a talk with them and maybe they can talk on your behalf.

p.s. My friend told me of her friend who is also undocumented that works at a doctors office. She didn't tell me how though.

Don't get discouraged though, make a real attempt at it. =)

p.s.s And one more thing. If you do manage to work in a dentist office or any other one for that matter. Remember to keep it real hush-hush of your status for any reason. Its probably obvious what I'm saying but the dentist told me she herself could get into real trouble if someone were to have found out that I was working there. Good Luck!
