Hey guys....advice/thoughts please.....

I was denied to continue as a dependent in my mom's insurance since I'm not classified as disabled and is not a full-time college student. Problem is I am schedueld in Mayo Clinic--which is a private hospital--for a post-checkup because I had surgery there last January. Do you think I'll have a problem telling them of my status to get financial help? I'm wondering if anyone here has gone through something like it.
