My dad came to the U.S. legally on a student visa and brought me and my mother along too (I was 18 months).
He soon graduated, got a job (changed his visa to business), but was laid off from his job after 9/11.
Continued to stay even after the visa expired... :/

I've only been illegal for about 3 almost 4 years.... it's pretty hard though :/
