I know that it might sound a bit selfish, after all some of us are better positioned to face such harsher penalties and requirements but we have to be realistic. We all should be aware that we need to prove red neck America that legalization would bring economic benefits and not burdens and to try to mitigate the "amnesty" aspects so they can see it as a truly earned path to legalization.

The problem with that is... "Red Neck America" doesn't think for themselves. "Red Neck America" listens to assholes like glenn beck and lou dobbs and that other asshole on the radio... They don't know squat about anything that's really going on. They don't generally have a opinion until one of their shepherds leads them in a certain way. So basically, as long as those dickheads in the "conservative" media are trashing undocumented people, the "Red Neck Americans" are going to oppose any bill.
Think about it... All they needed was a little bs lie, blasted out of proportion and thrown into the face of the media for them to stop the whole health-care reform. Imagine what kinda shit they have ready for when our time comes...
