Yes, politics has always been this way. But in times of great need, legislators have found a way to come together and work towards a solution. What we are witnessing today is unprecedented. Republicans have literally come up with a delay manual which details how they can obstruct progress at every turn (read it, it's quite scary). This is serious shit coming from one of the only three guys considered "moderate" on the Republican side.
