Contributing under Advocacy is now as easy as 1, 2, 3. See our opposition here and here, now wonder why we as a group are lagging in that space and what it means for our movement. Lets get this done and get on with the next thing.

In other news, we've made changes to Advocacy Point system. After introducing it in the last update, we have decided to get rid of the leaderboard of "Top volunteers." We saw that it did not work as intended and was not representative of what it means to contribute at the new Portal.

For the same reason we also decided to get rid of down voting of changes. The notion of negative Advocacy Points (AP) and the notion of penalizing for contributing just doesn't make sense, and so its gone.

We are continuing work on the AP system and ways that our community can come together to do useful work for the DREAM Act campaign. The deal will always stay the same, regularly contributing under Advocacy will earn you more Advocacy Points and get us an inch closer to our dreams.

Go contribute, go vote. Share your thoughts.
