If you're planning on leaving thinking that you'll be able to immigrate to the U.S. legally within a couple of years.. I think that's looking at it too optimistically. I think that if you were to leave, you should ready yourself emotionally for the worse-case scenario (no student visa, no CIR, no DREAM Act) so that you're not in a constant emotional state that's like, "Oh no, my life is forever ruined because I'm now stuck in this lame country that's not America." And instead, if you do happen to get a visa or some form of residency, you can be like, "Holy shiznit, I wasn't expecting it and was slowly building a life in Tijuana, but this is awesome".
