But in my case, I am wondering about the legal definition of "initial entry"; is it the first time you entered the US in your life or is it defined per visa issued?

Another word, is it considered another "initial entry" or "re-entry" if I return to the US on another visa after a 5-year absence? I looked up on google and the case wasn't clear.
