It was just a joke, I am currently dating a USC citizen and have for about a year and a half. We are happy, he has accepted me, and we have plans for our future together. However, I refuse to have kids until I have my status fixed. I don't want to risk my family being torn apart or have my kids wait months-years while mommy gets her status fixed in Juarez. It would not only be an additional stressor on my future spouse but on our kids.

I am 26, so according to you I can have kids now. I think that kids just happens, if you really stop to think about it, are you ever mentally prepared for kids?
