he had completed 2 years of community college and was planning on transfering, with that in mind I would guess he was maybe 20-21 years old. The warrant against him and his family was from 11 years ago, the guy was a minor with a warrant that neither he or his family knew existed.

What sucks about this whole situation is that there are laws protecting the incompetence of lawyers that fuck up and get people deported because of their fuck ups.

Illegal Thai, the guy was not a criminal under normal circumstances, he only did what he had to do to survive, the flawed immigration system just ensured that doing that was considered illegal, but he did not steal, murder or rape anyone, there was no mention of drugs, and someone with status would not be considered a criminal for doing the same thing he did.
