But here is the thing, our situation is such that there would be a lot of potential beneficiaries lost through no fault of their own because they have to take a limited number of credit hours to make their education affordable or postpone the education to make the money, or just avoid the education and start working to provide for their families.
I am still against lowering the age cap for those reasons, it would fault a lot of people for what I think its unreasonable.
I just can't believe I never noticed that the retroactive benefits exclude the age cap...

Yup, finally someone got it right !!! The retroactive benefit is kinda under the radar, and not a lot of people has noticed it.
