Changing the age at all is stupid ffs.

Increasing conditional residency just gives people more to complete a 2 year college education or serve in the military, why give them more time to do it?

5 years permanent residency is the default wait for citizenship unless you are a permanent resident married to a citizen, then its a 3 year wait. Its not like we get citizenship immediately after the conditional period is over!


Only thing I agree with is not being allowed to sponsor family members. Reason I say this is because after DREAM is passed CIR will have more momentum than ever. (lets face it the congressional Hispanic caucus, and other Latinos apposed to "piecemeal" reform will be up in arms about DREAM)
