Yeah, plus how would you enforce that ? I think telling the public and Senators that realistically there isn't a way for a DREAMer to Sponsor their parents for the next couple of decades makes more sense.
If you look at the comment sections on articles about DREAM ( or just talk to people) there are huge misconceptions about who/how people can immigrate.
I think some of the main myths to clear up, that would increase public support --
1) Undocumented youth can not go join the military
2) Marrying a U.S. citizen doesn't mean an undocumented person can adjust their status automatically.
3) People can't get their paperwork and immediately go bring their relatives in.
4) There is a no legal way for undocumented young people to get their immigration paperwork taken care of in the U.S.
